It all started during a time when we were struggling to hire the right people. Applications were coming in CVs, LinkedIn profiles, cover letters…
But figuring out who was actually the right fit felt like a constant challenge.

Sometimes we focused too much on experience. Other times, on where they studied.
Sometimes we just picked someone because the interview went well. And more often than not, we were left with that question:

“Could there have been someone better?”

The process was slow, exhausting, and most of all; uncertain.
Our team was growing.
So were expectations, responsibilities, and urgency.

But one thing stayed unclear:
Who would we grow with?

What companies need isn’t more candidates or more interviews. They need a better way to make decisions, decisions that feel grounded, not rushed. Zeynep and I both come from HR. We’ve lived the chaos behind hiring tight timelines, team pressure, and unclear expectations. So when we started working on Hiroo, we weren’t just building a tool.

We were trying to fix something we knew first-hand.
